Gonzales Firewood & Tree Service
A logo project I did for my roommate’s dad’s business. He needed them for his business class, and I needed something to do haha. These are the business cards, and I think they came out pretty damn good if I do say so myself.
Way too many people call this the “and sign.” It’s not. It’s a fucking ampersand. So that’s half the reason I made this piece ha ha. The other half is that I was really bored, as per usual.

Ribbons and Geometry
The 2013 logo for my design firm. I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while now, but haven’t been able to get it quite right. I’m really happy with how this came out though.. More artwork on the way, I’ll keep ya guys posted!

Literally one of my favorite movies of all time, and this scene is probably the most memorable of the whole movie.
So this finally got accepted by Betype, but better late than never. I’ve been lsitening to a lot of music lately, and this was inspired by the hook to one of my favorite songs by Mod Sun. The car, along with many of the graphics I use in my typography work, I got from the Noun Project, of course. A cited link is listed below. Jonathan Ive has been a huge influence on me, for a really, really long time now. The work he has done at Apple is truly amazing, inspiring and flat out great. He strives for simplicity and usefulness - only putting exactly what is needed, but not leaving out any key features. Plus he’s British as fuck, which makes him super awesome.

A Creative Redesign
My art blog is getting an huge face-lift today. It’s simpler, and brings my art and reflections front and center. My likes, twitter posts and links to contact me are now tucked away in the convenient sidebar gadget. Additionally, the site is now a fully capable mobile-first/responsive design. That basically means that no matter what size of screen you’re viewing this site, it’s going to look gorgeous.
On top of all that, I’m also updating previous posts to be more detailed and blog-like. From now on, all of my posts will be that way, too.
Sometimes the wrong choices bring us to the right places.
If there’s one thing that I have done in my life, it would be that I have always made the wrong choices. It seems to be an ongoing theme. That being said however, I have not made a wrong decision that I later regretted. So far, I’m still alive, still healthy, and have a pretty awesome life. I am exactly where I want to be, and walking the line of where I don’t, ha ha.

Cage The Elephant
Another submission of mine, promoted by Betype! Already at 100+ notes and it’s only been 6 hours! I’m pretty excited to be getting back into graphic design and art. I’ve been really busy with school and what not lately, but now that I’m just a part-time student, I have a bit more free time for awesome stuff like this.
UPDATE: My posts won’t stop come next semester when I become full-time again! I just added a graphic design minor to my degree and am taking an art class starting in January! HYFR
